It was a weekend of extremes for Merlin's. Friday night was going fine 'til everyone skeedattled around midnight - they were "saving themselves" for the next night! The band worked on new tunes and had a good time. BUT....Saturday night was an entirely different story!! By the time the band fired up at 9pm, it was SRO (Standing Room Only) and it only got bigger!! The breaks were shattered by the wonderous sound of a big Harley firing up on the dance floor...that's right, ON THE DANCE FLOOR!!! You had to be there to believe it! Everyone stayed 'til after the 1am costume contest, which was a difficult call, there were some GREAT costumes. The band played 'til almost 2:15 after two encores, and the place was still jumpin' when the last note faded out. The boys are really looking forward to New Year's Eve at Merlin's, and it's on a Friday night so there's no excuse for not showing up. Put it on your calendar and BE THERE!!!
